This is the privacy policy notice of DBT Chat Bot under the website; [sophiebaulch.wixsite.com/dbtchatbot] the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/DBT-Chat-Bot-112908400061870 and the Facebook Messenger http://m.me/112908400061870.

The purpose of this policy is to explain to you how we control, process, handle and protect your personal information and while you browse or use this website. If you do not agree to the following policy you may wish to cease viewing / using this website and the chat bot / messaging service, and / or refrain from submitting your personal data to us.

"I", "our", "us", or "we" refer to the business, DBT Chat Bot.
"you", "the user" refer to the person(s) using this website.
GDPR means General Data Protection Act.
PECR means Privacy & Electronic Communications Regulation.

Cookies mean small files stored on a users computer or device.

WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT AND HOW?
In order to provide you with access to DBT Chat Bot you need to use a Facebook messenger account. The name of this Facebook Messenger account will be collected by DBT Chat Bot’s Facebook page, in order for us to monitor conversations. It will be visible to the Bot administrator in DBT Chat Bot’s Facebook page administration. This will manually be deleted as quickly as possible.

The content of your chat (but not your Facebook Messenger account name) is automatically and immediately copied to the DBT Coach SnatchBot account. Any personal information you reveal during your chat is therefore also copied to the DBT Coach SnatchBot account (at SnatchBot.me).
If you sign up to our email list (and therefore consent to receiving emails from us) we will gather your name and email address. This is for the express purpose of communicating with you via email newsletter.
WHY IS THIS DATA COLLECTED?
The chat conversation content is held at SnatchBot.me for the purpose of research and product development, i.e. so that we can analyse how effective DBT Chat Bot is and so that we can make improvements to it.
FOR HOW LONG WILL IT BE KEPT?
Information collected via Facebook / SnatchBot.me will be held for no longer than 12 months or until you withdraw consent, whichever comes first. Information gathered via MailChimp will be kept until you withdraw consent (unsubscribe) or when the mailing list is shut down.

We are exempt from registration in the ICO Data Protection Register because this is a not for profit project. Under the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) we control and / or process any personal information about you electronically using the following lawful basis.

Lawful basis: Consent. DBT Chat Bot seeks your consent at the beginning of each conversation. You have the right to withdraw consent at any time.

​If, as determined by us, the lawful basis upon which we process your personal information changes, we will notify you about the change and any new lawful basis to be used if required. We shall stop processing your personal information if the lawful basis used is no longer relevant.
SHARING YOUR INFORMATION
Apart from those outlined above, we do not share your information with third parties.

DATA SECURITYÂ AND PROTECTION
We ensure the security of any personal information we hold by using secure data storage technologies and precise procedures in how we store, access and manage that information. Our methods meet the GDPR compliance requirement.
EMAIL MARKETING MESSAGES & SUBSCRIPTION
Under the GDPR we use the consent lawful basis for anyone subscribing to our newsletter or marketing mailing list. We only collect certain data about you, as detailed in the "Processing of your personal data" above.
Any email marketing messages we send are done so through an EMS, email marketing service provider. An EMS is a third party service provider of software / applications that allows marketers to send out email marketing campaigns to a list of users.

Email marketing messages that we send may contain tracking beacons / tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. Where used, such marketing messages may record a range of data such as; times, dates, I.P addresses, opens, clicks, forwards, geographic and demographic data. Such data, within its limitations will show the activity each subscriber made for that email campaign.
Any email marketing messages we send are in accordance with the GDPR and the PECR. We provide you with an easy method to withdraw your consent (unsubscribe) or manage your preferences / the information we hold about you at any time.
